This October and November 2023, there will be free Community Climate Action Training for rural Dún-Laoghaire-Rathdown in Ballyogan. You can sign up here. I am happy to see that the programme will be rolled out in Ballyogan, as unpredictable weather patterns have a potentially greater impact on people living in rural areas.
There’ll be different themed sessions, so pick and choose which ones you’re interested in. The field trips sound really great too – I’d highly recommend booking your spot for the Rediscovery Centre field trip to Ballymun.

- Green procurement. Thursday 2nd November 2023, online.
- Visit to the Rediscovery Centre in Ballymun. Saturday 4th November at 11am.
- Growing and groundskeeping. Monday 6th November 2023 at 7pm, in Samuel Beckett Civic Centre.
- Visit to Glas Community Garden in Ballymun. Saturday 11th November at 11am.
- Water and Climate Change. Wednesday 15th November 2023, online.
- Water Management Field Trip. Saturday 18th November 2023.
- Planning for Action. Thursday 30th November 2023 at 7pm, in Samuel Beckett Civic Centre.
