As development has grown and grown in Kilternan, the need for road safety improvements between the Golden Ball and De La Salle Palmerston Rugby Club is long overdue. I was so frustrated to get this response below to my motion for traffic calming on this stretch of road, especially given I and others have made requests for this year so many times before.
It’s planned in the Local Area Plan, but the schedule the council staff have for it, means it could be years before any safety improvement is made. I will continue to fight this with the council and will not be taking no for an answer.
