Cllr Oisín O'Connor

Green Party Councillor for Glencullen-Sandyford, including Ballinteer, Stepaside, Kilternan, Leopardstown, Ballyogan & Glenamuck

Did you know that all people over 18 who live in Ireland are eligible to vote in local elections? But you must register to vote before the deadline. For the local & European elections on the 7th June, you must register by 20th May.

You just need to fill in this form online. It takes around 1 minute.

Having difficulty completing the form? Send me a WhatsApp message and I’ll try to help you.

If you have registered before but moved address, you need to change your voter registration to your new address at voter.ie. If you are 16 or 17 years old, you can also pre-register to vote at the link above, which saves the hassle of remembering once you hit 18.

So don’t delay, register to vote in Ireland today! It’s important for you to have your voice heard. I am running for the local elections in the Glencullen-Sandyford area, which includes Ballinteer, Stepaside, Kilternan, Leopardstown and Ballyogan.

If you’re living outside Dublin, please use checktheregister.ie. This new national online registration system was launched by my Green Party colleague Minister Malcolm Noonan in November 2022 and will enable much more people to vote in the upcoming June 2024 local and European elections.
